The party started on the 26th of December 1990 at 12.00. The party place was located at the Hojstrup school in Odense, Denmark. The place was seperated into many rooms. The big hall was ment for the elite amiga groups and then there was two smaller halls and many classrooms. We settled down and lotsa people arrived. At 17.00 the groups presents was: Flash Production, Kefrens, Hypnosis, Crionics, Paradox, Scoopex, Rebels, Phenomena, Razor 1911, Cave, Prologic, Red Sector, Disaster Area (with a good looking girl!!!), later some guys from Silents arrived. Later in the evening the police came. But it had nothing to do with the party itself. It was because of some drunk people, so Dexion had called the cops Reward of Scoopex SF was also kicked out because he was drunk and had thrown with bottles in the toilets. Nothing really happend through the night and by midnight there was about 600 people present at the party. In the morning most of the crowd woke up and the party went on. More and more groups showed up. Groups like Vision, Amaze, Anarchy, Goonies, Direct and lotsa lamers. The next morning there was the Kick Off competition finale. The champ was up against another guy who had qualified to the finale. The match was shown at a small screen, but big enough that everyone could see it. The champ won 20-5 and he got a diskdrive as first prize. The party continued, and all groups worked hard to get their demos ready for the demo competition. Now the time was for the grafix and music competition. Dexion had choosen 8 pictures and 5 tunes. The organizing of the compo was too bad. The screen messed up the pics. Well the results of the compos: Music: --------------------------- 1. Einstein of Betrayal 2. DJ of Hypnosis 3. Tip of Phenomena and Mantronix of Razor 1911 Grafix: --------------------------- 1. Slash of Kefrens 2. Uno of Scoopex 3. Zeeloyd of Triangle 3532 After the competition Tip and Mantronix was pretty angry at Dexion because, as they said, that Dexion fucked up their tune (Personally I think they did!!!) After the competition there was a guy on the stage, bringing the results of the competitions. "In overall the party is pretty cool, allthough there isn't so many international groups. It is a shame that the groups are spread all over the school, and not sitting in one big hall - that's a whole lot better. The organizing of the party is good, and I hope Dexion will handle the demo conpetition well. See you at another Silents pardie!!!" -Crux/The Silents "It's a cool party, loads of cool guys. Better than the English parties." -Dan/Anarchy "Till now boring, no new stuff, nice arranging, cold hallways, lameass on stage, shame that we couldn't use our fireworks at him, nice conpetition arranges, lousy kitchen, not enough wares or else they are ausverkauft." -Maestro/Kefrens "It was very well organized until the compos started. Then I really got dissapointed, and that is not just because my tune didn't won. All the tunes sounded shitty, and the pictures for the gfx compo looked really bad. But I hope that when the demo compo starts I will be positively surprised. Overall I will probably rate this party high, bcoz I met many cool guys here." -Mantronix/Razor 1911 "Quite cool, many elite guys. It's good that cool and lame groups are divided." -Facet/Vision "Well, it's a well arranged party with the exeption of the gfx and music competition. Quite a lot of people have shown up, but you can't see who's who, on account of that, most people are sitting in a huge hall without any badges telling us handle or group. It's really awfull that no booze is allowed (the bastards stole my beers!!) we had to drink outside in the cold. The prices and voting for the compos were more than odd, and the distance between the big hall and the classrooms are definately too big. Anyway...it's a standard party." -Tip/Phenomena (Thanx to these guys for answering my questions!) Well time for the main event, the demo competition!!! The demo would be shown on a big screen. Not that big anyway, I gues about 1.5 x 1.5 meters. But the quality of the screen was really bad. The sound came out of 6 speakers places around the room. Groups competition was: Adroit, Kefrens, Cycron, Phenomena with 2 demos, Sanity, Acon, Voice, Swampions, Technoflight, Frantic, Amaze, Budbrain, Horizon, Treacl, Rebels, Crionics, Vision + some others who was not shown. After they had shown all the demos we should vote for the 5 best demos. And now the results: 8. Kefrens 7. Sanity 6. Rebels 5. Phenomena 4. Horizon 3. Crionics 2. Budbrain 1. Phenomena So Phenomena won. It was with a single part demo from Celebrandil. And it deserved the first place. A nice demo. Budbrain presented another of their special mega demos but this time there was a bit coding too. Crionics's contribution was a kind of multi demo (Mental Hangover style). But the demo crashed 2 times when it was showed for the crowd. A shame, but they managed a third place. After the compo the party was over. Conclusion: Good arranging, the power supply was superb, the power didn't broke down at all!!! The party place was good, 200m to a baker, 300m to a shopping center and 1km to Odense City. People visiting the party: 730 (Amiga + C64)
