Goonies 2041
In 1985, a Danish cracker going by the name The Goonie released his first crack on the C64. He was soon joined by a group of friends, and together they decided to form a group under the name Goonies, which would later evolve into Goonies 2041 — although the meaning of “2041” has never been clearly explained and remains something of a mystery.
Around 1988, a large portion of the members made the transition to the Amiga, marking a turning point for the group. Shortly afterwards, all C64 activities were brought to an end. On the Amiga, the group gradually moved away from traditional cracking and instead focused more on producing trainers, which at the time were in high demand among users.
Although primarily a Danish-based group, Goonies 2041 also had a handful of members in other Scandinavian countries, giving them a modest international presence.
