The party took place at a school in Odense/Denmark from the 26 Dec to the 29 Dec 1990. It was both an Amiga and C64 party. There were a big room for the Amiga freaks and the classrooms close to the big room were filled up too with Amiga freax. In the end of the school there were two rooms for C64 freaks (We did not invite much C64 freaks because Dexion is only on Amiga). Many elite groups were present at the party but I can't remember half of them. Anyway here're some of the groups that I can remember: Scoopex, Anarchy, Silents, Hypnosis, Vision, Crionics, Paradox, Skid Row, Classic, Z+C, Fairlight, Red Sector, Phenomena, Horizon, Budbrain, Amaze, Tristar, Flash Production, Rebels, Razor 1911, Aurora, Angels-Defjam, Kefrens, Arcane, Complex, Subway, Possessed, Ecstasy... and MANY other ELITE GROUPS! There were approx. 700 persons at the party. Nope, not guys all of them. There were girls too! YES, but only 3-4 girls... Well, the first day we had some problems with drunken people at the partyplacse and as said before... NO ALCOHOL was allowed at the party place! But it seems that some guys can't read! So, we called the police and they took one guy with them to the policestation and he stayed there all the night! After that we did not have more problems with drunken people at the partyplace. By the way, we told all the people at the partyplace before the police came, that the police would come and there should be no panic because it was only because of some drunken idiots! Well, we got some enemies because of that (the drunken people) and they said Dexion is lame, wrote on the walls at the toilets and nothing else. By the way it's really stupid that some guys come to a party where it is ment to have fun and then they just drink like crazy! They can booze on a normal Friday or Saturday evening in their own town. Another problem the first day was that we did not have enough tables for all the visitors because we only expected about 400-500 persons to show up. But we fixed tables for everybody and we apologize the problem. There were about 750 people at all. Let's continue with the Kick-Off Competition which there's not much to tell about... There were really many competitors and they had a lot of fun but I can't tell much more about it because I was busy in the shop during the competition. The final match was shown on the screen in the big room and the winner got a diskdrive and some other stuff! When people wanted to get away from their computers for some time they could watch some movies in the Filmroom. Friday evening the Music and Graphic competition started. There were many entries to the competitions so we had a jury which selected the best entries and after that it was up to the visitors to judge the winning Music and Graphic. Mantronix/Razor 1911 & Tip/Phenomena The results of the GFX Competition: ----------------------------------- 1. Slash of Kefrens 2. Uno/Scoopex 3. Zeeloyd/Triangle 3532 We had some problems with the screen where the competitions were going to take place because the screen was too small and not very sharp. Well, actually we ordered a much larger screen but the company where we ordered the screen just showed up with this small screen... Argh... we are going to kill the company and we want our money back! The deadline for the Demo Competition was only moved one hour. The jury selected 17 demos out of approx. 30-35 demos to be shown at the screen. And then it was up to the visitors to judge the winning demo. The Demo Competition started saturday morning and the result ended like this: 1. Phenomena (Animotion) ($1000) 2. Budbrain ($500) 3. Crionics ($200) There were released many demos at the party but also cracks, slideshow, intros and much other stuff was released.
