Yet again, it is RokDaZone (your very busy and hardworking, quite important but still modest STOLEN DATA-Editor). This time it is a special LIVE report from the... HURRICANE - PARTY '92 held in Samso/Denmark. This report might appear a bit disappointing to some scenefreaks, because I do not want to compete in the collective hatred, but will try to be as objective as possible. Well, this first sentence may seem a bit astounding to those freaks, not present at this party. In fact, this party is not the promised mega-party with open lines, high competition and low food prizes. Indeed, we found closed lines, high food but no competition prizes and much free disappointment for all. But let us see... We - Pinny/ANARCHY, General/BRAINBOMBS (C64) and me - arrived at the partyplace approx 17:40 after a promised and fullfilled ride in a free bus and found two quite large halls - one for AMIGA and the rest you may guess yourself. Still, the halls were not overcrowded, but the air (esp. in the AMIGA hall) was really hot and stinky so we soon decided to step outside again. At first seemingly no betterknown groups showed up, but after some walks, we finally discovered the VIP-rooms. So, the whole party was split up into three different parts. Not so well... Just let me have a look around (this is live!) and see what groups my eyes will catch: Silents, Kefrens[/s], [g=35]Parasite, Static Bytes, S!P/Scoopex, Anarchy, Devils, P.M.C., Complex, Rebels, Dual Crew, Hurrilame (guessed that.), Mexx, Sonic, Trojans, Images, Sanity, Wise Guys, Bastards, Amaze, Equinox, Phenomena, Vixen, The Corporation, Wrath Design, 2000 A.D. and a lot more... In the hall for the common Amiga-freaks one finds mainly unknown guys, often playing old to very old games. In fact thousands of games are flying around the hall. It is a legal party you know... A guy, trying to fix his VHS-system in order to sell videos does not manage to show his hardpornos without disturbing flickers and I think this says it all about the main part of the guys hanging around here. The most people here seem to be uninterested in nearly anything going around here and so everybody turns on his stereos to splatter Techno or heavy metall around. Now, let me get to the organisation. Eh, this is weird, but it also makes the whole thing more interesting to write for me. First of all the positive points... No breakdowns at all. The power-supply was really good. The halls themself were quite big. Enough place for everyone. Although much fewer people as expected showed up, about 600(?) people were present. The taxi to the small village of Ballern (?) where a neat discotheque was located was quite cheap and also the club itself was fun. After some hours many visitors appeared to be real partyanimals (Read the boozed interview with Zob and C.H.A.R.D./S!P/Scoopex in this issue). In the same building were the AMIGA-hall was located, some girlies from Denmark spent their holiday vacation!!. Here some of the negative points:
