Devils
Devils was primarily a French-based demo group born sometime mid/late 1990. The group would later recruit both German and Norwegian members and especially the Norwegian section was at one point very productive.
Over the years, the group had some very talented (and what was to become very prominent) members. French graphic artists Rhah and Mack along with German coder Zulu were all members before they rose to later scene fame in other groups.
In April 1992, together with fellow French groups End of Century 1999 and Dreamdealers, Devils announced they were going to arrange a big party, for 800 visitors, in the city of Montpellier, called The Beachparty. Three party invitations were released, but only a month short of the actual party taking place, Dreamdealers quit the project. This caused some dispute between the two groups, and numerous "fuckings" can be found in the releases to follow. Eventually the plans all together fell through, and The Beach Party was never realized, causing a lot of members to leave for other groups.
The Norwegians started out strong in 1993, releasing several nice intros and packs in the first half of the year. Later that year most of them left to start a group on their own, Shamrock, leaving the Norwegian section to die.
Along with a few packs in the Party Cocktail series, the intro Fishtro is (as far as I know) the last release from Devils.
