Your name, group and functions? |
| Omega: |
My pseudonym is OMEGA and I'm a member of Rebels. I'm 17 years old and I live in Sweden. Mainly, I'm a musician, but I also do some low-budget swapping. |
| TGF: |
Which Other groups have you been in and for how long time have you had your Amiga? |
| Omega: |
I bought my Amiga 500 about two and a half year ago, for the simple reason that most of my friends had one. I started composing half a year later and around xmas-89 I joined POWERDRIVE (Yeah!!). I never made anything for them, so short afterwards, I was a member of NECATRIX. Next step in the history of OMEGA (he,he) is that I joined DUAL CREW, together with MACE, COLOR & TIP/NECATRIX. Half a year later they all got tired of DUAL CREW and they joined... PHENOMENA. Myself, I stayed a while longer in DUAL CREW. Finally, in March '91, I joined REBELS. |
| TFG: |
Are you still in contact with Dual Crew? |
| Omega: |
Well yes, I trade some wares with Stookie/DC but we don't write to each other very often. That reminds me!! Perhaps I should send to him soon. |
| TGF: |
What do you think about the Swedish scene? |
| Omega: |
The scene in Sweden is very good. There are lots of nice groups, and unfortunately lots of not very good groups. Well, it's like that everywhere, right?! I guess it's more or less equal to other countries' scenes. |
| TFG: |
Why did you join Rebels and not any other crew? |
| Omega: |
I found out that Rebels had no musician in Sweden, so things just happened that way. I talked to Nick of Rebels (TJENA KOSSAN!) and he seemed like a really nice guy. So, nothing to hesitate about, eh!! |
| TGF: |
I know you are a friendship fan (Talking about writing long letters etc.), but what do you think about the movement? |
| Omega: |
To tell you the truth, I think it's pure bullshit!! How many times haven't you received a letter that says, "PS: Friendship rules!", etc. If you want friends, get them, but don't talk about FRIENDSHIP like it was some kind of a group. The scene never got better, because the movement FRIENDSHIP was born. The only thing that came out of it was that the groups that started it got more famous. |
| TFG: |
What do you think about cracking? |
| Omega: |
It's nice that some slaves are doing it, so you can get some neat games from time to time. I don't think I would buy any games if there weren't any crackers. It's just too much money!! It's wrong, however, to sell new cracks to others. But I understand the ones who do it. It can't be very fun wasting all that time, if absolutely nothing comes out of it. |
| TFG: |

| TFG: |
What is your aim as a musician? |
| Omega: |
Well, first of all to release some of my tunes. Not many of them have been released. It would be really fun to enter the eurochart, but I don't really care at what place I end up. I feel more and more that I want to make music to find my own personal style and develop the kind of music that suits me the best. If others like it and things work out I might do some gamemusic, but then I must learn to be more creative and find inspiration much quicker than I do today. I don't have an own Synthesizer, but I'm planning to buy one, so I can get more highquality-samples and perhaps do some music with the midisystem. That'd really be something!! There is only one slight problem... MONEY!!! |
| TFG: |
Now to the serious ones (he,he). What would you do,if you found Julia Roberts, naked on the beach? |
| Omega: |
Give her a free ride to heaven!! |
| TFG: |
Have you ever heard about these guys, Dr.Bully, Rack and Avantage? |
| Omega: |
Hmmm, let me think... I think I saw a musicdisk from Majic 12 a while back, with music from these guys. Perhaps I'm mistaking, I don't know. Maybe Rack did the gfx... |
| TFG: |
Tell me the funniest thing you have ever heard. |
| Omega: |
Megashow a go-go, 23.10 on Tuesdays in P3, Swedish radio. |
| TFG: |
What animal do you think you look like? |
| Omega: |
Well, that's a hard question, but perhaps the rat in Stephan King's "Graveyard Shift". No, no, no!! Hmm, damm tricky question!! Once a friend (?) said I was equal to a monkey, but I never understood what he meant by that (UGGA BUGGA!!). |
| TFG: |
Finally we reached the end!! Now you can say whatever you want to. |
| Omega: |
