This must be the FIRST report of The Crystal, Silents and Anarchy Party 2!! Ok first the trip: At the 27th of december we (Mirage: Retep, Protec, Jake, Crackerjack and Blo. Anarchy: Conquest and NHP. Desire: THD and Fabian) left Protec's joint at exactly 00.00 h to drive to the so awaited Party of the year. After 12 hours of much fun in our cold Party mobile we arrived in Aars. DAY 1 When we arrived at the Messecenteret (the conference centre) we found 2 entrance doors where you could enter the party. But there was a BIG queue, because they only used 1 entrance. So the visitors first had to wait hours before they could check in at the entrance desk. (Really stupid to wait for hours we thought, so we entered door 2 and walked directly to the entrance-desk and checked in. This took only 2 minutes of our time. Time is money) Ok, when we paid the entrance fee (120 Dkk) we got a disk with info and voting stuff on it. After that we were able to join the crowd. There were 3 halls. The first hall was used for the Amiga (elite), hall 2 for the Amiga (loosers) C64 and the PC and hall 3 was the sleeping hall. The first day nothing happened that rocked my boat, so it was a bit boring. (More people said so.) LIVE SEX!!!!! Yes there was also sex at the party. Hall 3 was seperated in 2 parts by a set-up wall (Only one part was used for sleeping) I (Retep) looked through a hole (2m * 2m) to see if we also could sleep at the other side. BUT what did I see... A totally NAKED girl! So I shouted to everyone that there was a naked girl... Later she started to FUCK... (You should have seen all those dirty and horny freaks watching the show!!) In the eve some movies were shown at the laserdisc room like Wayne's world, Patriot games, Basic Instinct, Terminator 2 etc. DAY 2 At 00.00 h the techno concert from KYD/BALLE should take place but it finally started at 01.30 h. So all the people were waiting impotently ehr.. I mean impatiently untill the concert started. Finally JESPER KYD, MIKAEL BALLE, NIGHTLIGHT and STATIC started to play. The concert lasted for 45 minutes. And it was a hell of a concert including lights, smoke and stroboscopes. They played about 6 songs. On the screen they played some really nice own made video-clips with some cool paintbox stuff. The concert was not live as said! But anyway it was a great show!! After the show most freax went to 'bed'. After a short and cold night the 2nd day really started. Some compos took place at this day like the intro, fast demo, music and gfx compo. INTRO COMPO Intro compo: Most of the intros were really standard with old and crappy routines, but there were also some neat ones like Melon Dezign (cool), Silents etc. 1st MELON DEZIGN 2nd COMPLEX 3rd SILENTS FAST DEMO COMPO None of the pure shitty intros worked! MUSIC COMPO Well the music compo really SUCKED! A lot of the modules were not played while they were much better that most of the songs. Modules which weren't played were from JESTER/SANITY, NHP/ANARCHY, WOTW/SILENTS and loadsa more.Jester got really pissed and started shouting in Dutch: Konteneukers, Gelul, Apollo Penis, Klootzakken etc. (Not bad for a German!) NHP tried to blast some organizers.All musics were played for 2 minutes except the one from MOBY/DRD. They played this great Heavy metal song 3 minutes! (Fair or what?) The one from Audiomonster was 6 minutes long so you could only hear the intro! 1st prize was for MOBY/DREAMDEALERS. (A heavy metal song which sounded very real) GRAPHICS COMPO The pictures were really stunning. People like PEACHY, FAIRFAX, FACET etc. participated. 1st PEACHY/TRSI 2nd FAIRFAX/ANDROMEDA 3rd GROO & RUFFERTO/ESSENCE 4th FACET/ANARCHY 5th RHAH/DREAMDEALERS DAY 3 At the 3rd day the long awaited demo compo started. I and the whole Mirage fleet missed it because we were asleep (Yo!). But thank God Conquest was there! Well... everybody couldn't wait for major productions! The first one was State of the Art by Spaceballs making lotsa impact among the audience! For sure it was really original! Then the demo from VIRTUAL DREAMS/FLT got also much success. A break was made during half an hour to let the people make some copy. It started again around ten and there were presented the 3D DEMO II BY ANARCHY, ALFA & OMEGA II by PMC, among the awaited and other nice productions like the one from TRSI DK and PARADISE. DEMO COMPO 1st SPACEBALLS 2nd ANARCHY 3rd TRSI 4th PMC 5th SHINING Now about the voting: You could go to the entrance desk to give the disk with your votes on it. (This was the same disk you got at the desk when you paid the entrance fee) I think many people didn't vote because the disk contained a Crystal TSL Anarchy logo. You had to give the disk back when you voted. So many freaks saw the disk as a nice souvenir from the Party. THE GOOD POINTS - Promises were not lies as most of the previous parties! - Everything was there from the live concert by Kyd-Balle to the really great hifi and video equipment! - Sex live in the sleeping room (funky was so angry to miss it...). - As always we again met several cool guys! - Info screen. - Laserdisc room. - 2400 freaks. - Party T-shirt - etc, etc. THE BAD POINTS - Too much noise in the sleeping room although some lil' Danish skinheads were there to make the security. - The cafeteria run quite good but prices were not as low as expected. I doubt it was even cheap for Denmark as I talked with many Danish guys and they were also stunned with the prices! - Organisation was good but it seems that some people were just there to make money and it can't be good if there's no interest in the scene! - The music compo sucked!! - Only 2 showers for 2400 people!! - Dirty toilets. - A big mess (Not enough cleaning up personell). - No alcohol allowed! - Too less entrance doors. - Cheated compo as many party disks had been stolen. - etc, etc. Comment: Well...of course it is the best party ever made for the amiga scene. 2400 people showing up from whole europe is just enough to say!!
