Mirage

Mirage was formed in 1988/89 by the Dutchmen Tomcat and Silverbullet. They managed to recruit several new members and grow the group, all while keeping it a purely Dutch project.

Meanwhile, in Germany, the groups “Fun and Function” and “The Omega Crew” decided to join forces and continue under the name Mirage. They soon discovered that a Dutch group was already using the same name. After making contact, both parties agreed to merge under the name Mirage International (MINT). However, this collaboration did not last long. In August, the Dutch division released Prime '90 (also known as Mirage Megademo), in which a scrolltext strongly indicated that they had no contact with the rest of MINT. From that point on, their future productions were released under the name Mirage rather than Mirage International.

On July 31st, 1991, they released the very first issue of the message box Chit Chat. This would eventually become their trademark and by far their biggest success. A total of 15 issues were released, with the final one appearing in April 1995.
