Interview
First of all you have to know that this interview was made some weeks ago and last week TMB design joined Silents, but the questions are concentrated on Kefrens. I think it's not too big problem coz in this issue we have a Silents interview too.

Estrup: Hi Tore, let's do an interview for Top Secret. You can start by telling us your name, group and function.
TMB Designs: As already stated my name is Tore (Blystad), alias TMB designs/Kefrens, and I'm doin' graphics.
Estrup: Yeah, as we all(?) know, Kefrens is now reborn. Why did you decide to join Kefrens?
TMB Designs: They've got a nice sign! Hehe, I mean, bcoz I think that the substance of KEFRENS is the right one at the moment (not too many members), and because I think that there will come loadsa productions from them (us) soon!
Estrup: Could you name the members of Kefrens, along with their functions?
TMB Designs: Err, that's a hard one! UC, I haven't got the memberlist yet (!) (Shame on you, Krueger!). But anyway, I'll try. In Denmark: R.W.O (gfx), Krueger (swap), Vention (Code), Razmo (code), Kelic (code), Laxity (code), S.L.L (msx), and some other coder (Sorry, I didn't remember u!). In Norway: Me (gfx), and (This is not declared yet (in some days though, so I write it anyway, what the heck...)) Jason (msx), Anders Hamre (msx) (take a look at Protracker), Jellyfish (code) and last a cool dude named Geir (what's your computer-name???) (code, sysop) --> Call our awesome board (1.2 gigabytes): +47-2 304880 . As I said, about the last Norwegians I don't really know, but I suppose it's OK, coz they've all got a high standard. I also heard that Nightlight was going to re-join.
Estrup: Well, now let's talk about YOU. What do you do, when you're not drawing graphics (when's that?), and have you got any other interests than pixelling?
TMB Designs: Hmm. Watching movies (Mostly "old" ones, not "the latest", I'm no VHS-swapper), hanging onto the phone, comics (hi-q though), music (I'm ALWAYS listening 2 music while pixeling), etc..
Estrup: What equipment do you have for your Amiga?
TMB Designs: Not very much, unfortunately.. A500 V1.2, cbm1084 screen, mps 1500c printer, some unknown df1: (Thanks, Estrup, It's still working!), an optical mouse (GI-600 -a grafician-dream!) and a stereo (ofcoz) (NAD/Denon/Dual/Avance120W)
Estrup: We've seen a great increase in the quality of your graphics during the last year or so. From where do you get your inspiration/ideas to new logos/pictures etc.?
TMB Designs: From my surroundings and from my empty head! It's also very nice to watch new prod's from the scene, one gets some good ideas, filling etc.
Estrup: I guess you use DPaint for drawing. What do you think about the new DPaint IV?
TMB Designs: I don't think I, today, is capable to answer that, because DpaintIV is a big program, and I have (still!!) not found out all those smart little things you can do while filling, bending, etc.etc. But I really think that it has increased A LOOOT since I started drawing. I concider it the best drawing-prog, definetly.
Estrup: Well, on to some scene-talk. Just to get it over with, name us your favourite:
TMB Designs:
Coders: Ronan/TSL, I think. It's hard 2 tell when you're not a coder..
Graphic artists: Hmmm! Well, Uno/SCX, Bustman/CRS (well ain't he the most original artist??), RACK/M12 (I only wish I could contact him, buuut I havent got his address! Damn!), Walt/TSL.
Musicians: Bruno!/??, Heatbeat/??, Audiomonster/TSL.
Groups: PHA, Anarchy, Rebels.
Demos: Enigma/PHA, Ice/TSL.
Partys: ?? (parties?) (YES, parties!!): ???
Games: I don't play very much games, but I love Rainbow Islands!! (and Lemmings, ofcoz..)
Estrup: For how long time have you been part of the scene, and which groups have you been in before Kefrens?
TMB Designs: You don't wanna know!! Well, 2-3 years, and I've been in Cycron, Prologic and Extreme (for some days..), then trying 2 find a group for some months.
Estrup: You live in the (probably cold?) Norwegian town of Stavanger. What do you think of the scene in Stavanger?
TMB Designs: -COLD! I'm freezing my ass off!
Estrup: And the scene in general? Good things, bad things, changes during the time you've been part of it?
TMB Designs: I think that the scene is cool, but things maybe go too fast. Tomorrow we might need A3000's, all of us.
Estrup: As a result of the fall of the communist dictatorships in Eastern Europe, we've seen many new groups popping up there. What do you think about the quality of their releases, and what do you think their appearance will mean to the scene in general?
TMB Designs: Well, if there are people like RACK down there, they will probably wipe us out!
Estrup: And what do you think about parties/conferences?
TMB Designs: I've not visited more than 3 "real" ones, but I concider it a great way to get new impulses and meet new people.
Estrup: Well, let's leave the Amiga for a while. Your country, Norway, is world famous for the Brundtland report, named after the (ex-?)Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland, a report on world pollution and the need to decrease our use of energy and other resources. How could we, in your opinion, obtain this?
TMB Designs: Make recycled demos? (Don't start that off-the-scene-bull!!)
Estrup: OK, That'll be all for this time. Now, if there's anything you wish to say, anybody you wish to greet etc., now's the time.
TMB Designs: If anyone'd like to swap gfx/bullshit/telephonebills or whatever, contact me at: +47-4 520768 (Tore) (Or call me and give me your number, and I'll call u back (The bill is too big anyway)) Or write 2: T.Hornklovesgt 19A / N-4010 STAVANGER / NORWAY (no illegal). 'Ey Tama/Anarchy, will the musicdisk ever be finished?? -and Quest/Andromeda, why don't u write?? (sorry no more time, the mail's off in 10 min!
