What's your name, age and task in Quartex? |
| Corto: |
My name is Emmanuel. In July I will have my 17th birthday. My task in Quartex is to code some demos. |

To which groups have you belonged before you've joined Quartex? |
| Corto: |
In September 1990 I joined Angels. After this I was a member of Paradox and now I'm a member of Alliance Design which is a part of Quartex. |

Why decided Quartex to build up a demo section? |
| Corto: |
In january a part of Paradox joined Quartex. So there were also some coders (like me) joining Quartex and so this development took place automatically. |

What are your plans for the future? |

In this days I'm busied with passing my exams. Maybe I'll code another demo, but It's not sure yet. |

Of course. I like sports and music. For instance I'm playing the piano. |

How many cracks are released by Quartex each week? |

This differs a lot from week to week. In the last weeks there were about 6 or 7 games but some weeks ago we released nearly nothing. It's just a question whether we get some originals or not... |

Is there a cooperation between you and the crackers of Quartex? |
| Corto: |
I know the crackers, but there isn't a good contact to all of them except one guy who's living in my neighbourhood. |

How many members are in Quartex? |
| Corto: |
I don't know exactly, but I think there are 20-30 members In France there are 2 subgroups of Quartex: The Specials and Alliance Design. In Alliance Design we have 7 members. These subgroups are responsible for the demos. Freddy of The Specials is doing a demo these days which will become (hopefully) great and is to be released soon. |

You're living in France. Most BLUE BOXEs are using the French phonenet for the tollfree calls. The French Post got aware of it and changed the system. But is the public in France informed about the fact that there are people cheating their phonenet? |

No! In France nearly nobody knows anything about BLUE BOXING. There are no articles in the French press about this topic, and there are also only a few rumours in the french scene. |

Rumours say that the crackers of Quartex are highly paid. Are you also rewarded for your work or are you just doing it for fun and fame? |

I don't get anything material for my demos (except I win in a democompetition...). I'm doing it just to be in the scene, have some fun and met interesting people. |
