Interview
The "traditional" meeting of many scene guys was, however, at the booth of Commodore at twelve o'clock. Did you know that in hall 1 (only) all constructions stand there for a whole year and they are used only for these 8 days when it is time for CeBIT? Commodore has had the same place and the same set-up all the time: 5g 8 - 6k 2 & 6l 2. But these special contracts are running out in the near future. Maybe there will be a new distribution. Anyway some firms suggested to change the structure. We will see at the CeBIT '94 (16.-23.03.). Let's return back to the event. At about 12 o'clock the most groups were present, but if you took a look at the wall, which is ca. 20 metres long and belonged to Commodore. It was predestinated for all the tags, stickers and small posters but now it was completly hang with posters. These ones seems to be developed by Commodore in cooperation with the organizers of the party. It looked like the following sketch:

          SCOOPEX
           MASQUE
          SKID ROW

          COMMODORE

Some guys wore a t-shirt with this motif. In time there were a few stickers on the wall and single tags, but the mood, although it was good, didn't reach the same level like past CeBIT-Meetings. The "Stick-The-Sticker-Higher-Competition" was and will be cool and it belongs to the traditional meeting. But this time there weren't any activities like this. For all ignorants: This competition means to stick your sticker above all other ones on the wall. Some guys got on the shoulders of their friends and placed their sticker high above the Commodore-Logo. The good side of this sponsoring are the prices for the competitions and the fact that Commodore show interest in the scene. (What about sponsoring all big parties?) This time the police was present too, but I think nobody was arrested. Later at the booth there was a game sponsored by AMIGA PLUS, a german magazine, and several guys went there. There was a big video wall and the principle of the game was "Memo". (I don't know the english word. Short instruction: You have a certain number of trials to find two identical cards (with the same motif) out of 20 pieces. Then you got into the next level and so on (price: A1200)) Slowly the occupation of the Amiga-Section, parts of the pc-division and the gaits disbanded. Later all the guys met at "Projekt Werkhof". This place is used for techno-parties too. The entrance fee was the same amount like at the Cult-CeBIT'92 Party: Ten Deutsch-Marks. It is ucertain and the organizers didn't keep to their announcements. There was no live band and no synthi-guys and Scoopex didn't decrease the fee!! On the ground floor there was the room with the bar and some tables. One Amiga was built up for the presentation of the winning productions and with a projector the screen of the monitor was fixed on the wall. The action happened on the first floor. This level was divided into two rooms. Following groups respectivley members were present (no guaranty for completeness): TRSI, Alcatraz, Desert, Syndicate, Infect, ICE, Escape, Complex, Sanity, U.D.O., SubZero, Prime, Pleasure, Analog, TEK, Agnostic Front, The Dark Demon, Interactive, Cult, Razor 1911, Essence, The Face Inc., Alpha Flight, Vanish, Panic, Mexx; Many things were released, e.g. Bitblaster by Mexx, The Jungle by Damian, a new packloader from TEK, Midnite Mess 2 by The Dark Demon (hint page:666). All graphicians, coders, etc. made their job. Some swappers went from place to place and so on. Later all guys streamed to the presentation room. After a power failure the demonstration went on. The public had to vote the winner and the second and third place for the demo competition. The jury had four demos selected and they were not in agreement so the decision depended on the applause and with a great jubilation. UDO got the first place and they got a new Amiga 1200. Here are the party results:

1. UDO - Vaginal Massacre
2. TRSI - Misery Dentro II
3. Sanity - Terminal Fuckup
