Interview
On the 7th of December was the PRIME party of 1991. This time it was organized by MIRAGE. The party was held in Hengelo/Holland.

After a boring school morning we (Aljechin, Orbit and I, Zorba) drove to Hengelo. On our trip nothing special happend We passed the border without any problems. In Hengelo we had trouble finding the place, but after a half hour of searching we did it. The party was held in the dance hall of a pub.

After paying the 10 guilder entrance fee (it was around one o'clock) we entered the room. The room was totally owercrowded by hundreds of freaks. The air was really bad and foggy. I still don't understand how all those people could breath in it. However, as I said we entered the room where we met the other guys from COMA. After a big 'hello' we built up our machine and finaly found some time to look around.

The party was really well organized. There was a big VCR-screen where videos and demos were playing. The sound came over a Hifi system which was okay (just the dumb rapper with his noise was annoying). Outside there were enough parking places, and in the near was a snac-shop where food was available for low prices. All in all it was a great place to party. But what is a party without the people? NOTHING!! Okay here is a small list of groups which were present, so make up your own picture.

Present groups were:

Mirage, Axis, TRSI, S!P, Equinox, Analog, Agnostic Front, Scoopex, Vision, Tech, Abendon, Anarchy, Coma, Panic, Justice, Razor 1911, Silents, Desire, LSD, Adept, The Hidden, Awesome... (Sorry if your group is not metioned but I lost the overview and there was no guest book.)

Like every other party, the Prime party also had a competition, but none of this 'fake competions' stuff (as they called it in their invitation) so there was just a demo-comp. Anywaythe demos were shown on the VCR-screen and there were quite a lot. Sorry I have no list of all the competitor so here are just first three rangs.

Demo Competition:
-----------------------------
1st. price of 500 FL won AXIS
2nd. price of 200 FL won COMA
3rd. price of 100 FL won TRSI

I personally think that the third place was not realistic because some demos (like the demos from Desire and Vision) were much more inventive than the TRSI one. Nothing against S!P/TRSI but I have seen such routines a hundred times before. But back to the party. After the long demo-compo (because of many demos) the copying session began and the new demos were spread. Nothing else important was going on, so the party came to an end at around 10:00.

All in all the party was successful. It was well organized and the party place was just great although a little bit more space would be better for next time. I met some cool dudes and I really can say that I had a fun time. SO DON'T MISS THE PRIME '92!!
