LSD
LSD was once an important, if often criticized, part of the English scene. They took in a lot of members, until they were finally so bloated, the group died. Their diskmag "Grapevine" was pretty popular in some circles, while others criticized it for being made up largely of text just downloaded from boards and published as articles (also the case of the last Cracker Journal issues). Maximan wrote Lemmings II for the Sega Master System, Game Gear and Nintendo Game Boy. Shagratt is the author of the virus killer program Nuke! and its sister production Nuke! Saddam (1.2b 24/6/1991). 1991 - In early june, the group released for the very first time "Grapevine #1", and announced inside the joining of new coder Orchist from Druids. 1992 - Version 1.5a of Shagratt's viruskiller "Nuke" was released on the 19th of february. Kazer (sysop) joined Noxious, but quickly moved on to Defjam in early 92. Belgian swapper Alligator was kicked early92. Fugitive and english swapper Sidewinder (06/91) left the scene early this year. Yonex (sysop 'BRAIN FOREST') joined from Hotline early 92, but was soon kicked! All foreign sections were kicked in august. The French section formed the new group Artefact. Pazza (Grapevine editor) was busted late 92 by FAST and the drug police! He still continued working for LSD, releasing even more issues of Grapevine... Graphician Watchman started working for Core Design late 92. 1993 - Danish sysop Zoonie ('HOUSE OF GAMES') joined Decade early93. 1995 - When Oedipus (Joe Pietroni, code) joined from Nebula, he became editor of Grapevine for one issue only (Grapevine #21 [01/95]). Shortly after its release, his mother died, and he slowly drifted away from the scene... 'UTOPIA' went offline in june, and was not busted despite rumours.
