I arrived by train with two other Vertigo guys. We had to wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and we all we're tired after that 6 hour long traintrip. By the way, we had quite nice time in the train because we didn't told who we really are and heard some really weird stories about Vertigo but that's another story, even it was really fun. Anyway, it was about 14:00 pm and we were standing in the railwaystation of Lieksa. There were quys from Byterapers, Wizzcat, Society and from some other groups too. Most of the guys took a taxi and drove to the partyplace which was about 3 kilometers away in the west. As we were not the moneyguys we had to walk there... it was really cold and the wind was blowing like mad. Finally after half an hour we finally reached the partyplace. It was a big 'T' shaped school. The entrance payment was 60 Fim and wasn't very much because almost all other Finnish partys have had bigger entrance prices... Everybody had to write their real names and addresses as also phonenumbers down to get a blue stamp to their hand and also little piece of white paper with this same mark... Without it you could not enter the partyplace again if you had went out. Of course all the wiseguys wrote a wrong address... We got our own classroom which was suprisingly full of extra electrick lines and wires. We unpacked our things and went to see who else had allready entered the partyplace... There wasn't many - only 20 guys were present at the beginning of the party... We were told some rules like no alcohol was allowed, the doors would be closet at 23:00 so after that you could not enter the party, but they would be opened at 7:30 in the next morning. We also noticed that there was no phonelines out... all of them were closed. There was also 24 hour guardian who looked like a real faggot to me... Time went and teams'n guys arrived... Vertigo got their computers and Bloodsuckers their members... Because of this '24h guardian angel' there weren't many boozers around one poor guy who was first time away from home drank something and throw up some minutes after... he passed out. At this point I better write the teams which I remember to been there before I forget 'em, too... So there was Savage Finland of cause and Vertigo, Bloodsuckers, Complex, Defjam, Wizzcat, Genocide, Society, Nikki Corruptions, Midnightsun, Profex, Suspect, Vectra, Byterapers, Euphoria, Exotic Men, Dark Side, B.L.I., Capt and... shit! Too few sleeping hours I can't remember who else were there, maybe there were some other teams also present... About 70 guys in all. Later in the first evening Eddie/DefJam, Hoffi/Bloodsuckers and Ice/Vertigo wanted to download some goods and finally they got a change to go Zedy/Savage's home to do some modemtrading... Unfortunately there wasn't much hot stuff to take... But anyway the shit they took was copied by allmost everyone... Well, the night went and some sleeped a bit and some didn't. The result was the same... bunch of tired freaks wondering around like zombies... 'The lovely guardian angel faggot' kept a little talk in the gym and said that if any under aged guys were cought with booze they would lose it and he would give a call to their home to mom and dad... And if the boozer was over 18 the cops would be called to give him fine but he would not lose his alcohol - he would get it back after the party... The second day was like all other normal party days... Guys were coding their partydemos, copying, playing but the most 'coolist' time was when some Vertigo guys (Ice, Apache), Hyde of Complex, Eddie of Defjam and Hoffi 'the Buddha' of Bloodsuckers were calling for free from the nearest phonebox... Calls were made to USA, Germany, England, Norway, Sweden, Finland(?), Denmark, Austria and so on... There is no enough free space to write down all the freaks who were supriced by these drunk Finnish maniacs... But you know who you are! It was pity that we didn't have a number to Dexion's partyplace... That would have been really great! Some of you couldn't talk very long because the line was a bit bad, time to time but calls were made allmost 6 hours! So some chatted maybe even half an hour or so. The democompetition was supposed to be at 12:00 on 28.12. but it was moved earlier to 24:00 in 27.12 but was finally kept about 2:00 Am... There isn't much to tell about the democompetition... Some of you know very well why... Anyway, the competition was mainly organised by Hyde of Complex. Some demos were shown only about 10 seconds but anyone didn't complain about the result... The first price went to Vertigo for their crazy "Fill 'em all" demo. The Second price went to Vectra for their nice demo which included some vectors and Keftales 'hubbabubba' color rotating. Finally the third price went to Complex for their neat mouseloader (?!) Heh heh... Just kidding! Unfortunately I'm not sure about the third one... maybe it went to Wizzcat for their Snowwar or to Nikki Corruptions for their funny x-mas demo... After some phonecalls I'm beginning to be sure that there was no third place... Anyway the first price was 2 disks full of great savage demos! heh ehh... Sorry, I couldn't resist that... Yes, the 1st price was 1100 fim and the second was about 500 Finnish marks. Only one third of the summ which it was supposed to be but anyway it was money... The winner demo was not spread at the party but don't worry... You'll get it from your elite contacts right away when it's out (probably out when your reading this...) There wasn't much stuff released... this was becouse the lack of bigger groups and that there were atleast 4 partys around the world at the same time and many Finnish groups went there with their productions. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who had some doubts about this party... not only because rumours said that the main organizer was only 12 year old kid (and of course he was a bit older...) anyway now afterwards it doesn't seem to have been so bad after all... We all know how hard it is to control a large bunch of Finnish freaks so Savage did a good job... Anyway there could have been some things done better... So, why not arrange another party? And please, next time be sure that there are no cleaning women vaxing the floor so that nobody can't move anywhere... Not so serious 'fuckings' to all those groups who didn't get their ass to lieksa city...
