Last January the entire scene was shocked!! Crusaders decided to stop producing The Eurochart Since then, there has been many rumours about various groups taking over the chart. !! This has got to end !! So now it's official... From now on The Official Eurochart (tm) will be produced by Static Bytes & Kefrens. This is our little surprise...
Due to a special agreement with Crusaders, we are now officially taking over the chart. This will be effective from issue 15 and on. The Chart is still going to contain the usual things (That is: Euronews, gallery and, of course, the charts!). Furthermore Dr. Outtasight will continue his fabulous Ken-stories! We hope that you will continue to support The Eurochart by voting and sending news, clip-art and pictures to us.
One of the reasons why we are going to continue The Eurochart is that it is a basic element in the scene. Another reason is that all kinds of smaller charts are popping up. By continuing THE chart we are keeping the votes together and thereby producing a more accurate chart. We realize that it will be tough to reach the high standard of the previous issues and we hope that you will allow us to make some experiments and improvements during the production of the first couple of issues.
In the 15th issue the catagories will be the same as in the 14th. You can vote on a piece of paper or on of the old vote-sheets. In issue 15 (our first!) you will get a FREE advertisement when (and only IF) you vote! We are, unfortunately, unable to offer a diskback service in issue 15, but we will try to set it up for the next issue. We sincerely hope that you will help us rebuild The Official Eurochart (tm) It will also be a great help if you will spread this intro to all your friends... Expect issue 15 around 1st of July!
