Interview
McDisk: Please introduce yourself.
Der HM: 'Guten abend' folx, I am 'Der HM', currently in a group called Image.
McDisk: Give us some infos about yourself.
Der HM: Arf... I'm abnormal-looking, 190 cm tall, I love junk food, good music (nigger music rules!!), sick movies and trading (I don't love my phonebill very much however... heh). I'm a sysop, mailswapper, VHS-swapper and modemtrader and also do some stupid gfx und sfx just for my own fun. And I don't like my handle name very much because there's no sense in it, but anyway it would be stupid to change it after about 3-? years of using it...
McDisk: What are you doing at the moment (school, work...)?
Der HM: At this moment, I'm at a lunch break from my kEwL grass-cutting job (ah!) for this summer. After the summer I go back to school and after that the finnish lame army.
McDisk: Do you have any hobbies besides computing?
Der HM: Movies... And not much more!
McDisk: Give us some detailed info about your crew?
Der HM: Organizing and productivity are quite low (perkele, lazy koders, especially Cool J is ZoMbIe)... but the trading side is one of SF's best as almost all our traders have a fast modem (HST) or at least there's one near them. Even mailswappers. We have also three BBS's in Finland, all running OK.
McDisk: Do you have friends in the Amiga-scene?
Der HM: Yeeah, some... When you're a sysop, there're lots of guys to bullshit with and ofcuz the Finnish sysops are nice to chat with... (Hei hei Braggart, Hoffo, JayJay, Zebi ja muut). Anarchy SF members are also kool and there's some wunderbar Compleks members nearby (Hydex, Mic Dair, Jugi, Proton etc.)... And of course all my mail contacts, some foreign sysops etc. (Sorry, I haven't got the power to write all your names!)
McDisk: Have you been a member of some other groups before joining Image?
Der HM: Well right at the beginning 54543 years ago I was in the Finnish section of Vision One (!). Puh, and after its death (before it got back) I joined -=GATE=-!
McDisk: Why have you left this group?
Der HM: GATE? Urf, at the period of time when I left them, Gate hadn't released any megaKewl productions (there wasn't Bruno's MusicBox II at this time obs, obs!). And when my fisherman-friend Hyde, who had left Gate earlier and was founding a new group, asked me to come to the same group (Image) I left. Joining were also other kewl guys including codeGURU Sulky Fellow.. (who left to Vertigo shortly after the founding). Now the best of ex-Gate guys are in Anarchy and often I think how nice it would be to reform Gate again... Heh!
McDisk: On what are you working at the moment and when will it be released?
Der HM: Ha ha! If I knew it I'd be happy... I THINK Cool J is working on a huge Star Trek demo (Or playing some stupid games...) and Trug is doing a trainermenu (mega BIG production, huh!) with a speed of a turtle (not ninja one). Also some new strange little koders are doing all kinds of little shit.
McDisk: As you have a BBS, please give us some more infos about it.
Der HM: Ah, my favorite part! Ok, call the 101% Holy, world's spiritually leading trading BBS the WATCHTOWER... 105 megs (enuff), 24 h/day (enuff!), 3 MB ram, Lamerfree etc.: +358-18-805910! I'm the sysop and the BBS is also HQ for Complex's Maggy the diskmag!
McDisk: Does your crew have other BBS?
Der HM: In addition to my own BBS, the before mentioned two in Finland, and maybe soon one in USA (We've had already one USA HQ, but no more... Aw, not any loss it was a fucking C-Net shit BBS! Hehe!)
McDisk: What's the best Image release yet?
Der HM: Ho ho... from those few releases IMG has made... perhaps the Railroad Tycoon crack. (Which came about the same time when Crystal released the fixfile for their fuckup-crack). (Well anyway!)
McDisk: What was the best party you have visited?
Der HM: Urf, hard to say as foreign partys are so different from Finland's. I was in June at Society Copyparty which was quite good looking all sides... However there're bigger and nicer copyparties (for example in Sweden) that I've visited but sometimes I feel myself aLoNe there. (Perhaps because often only 10-20 finns have guts to leave their home-country to pardie...).
McDisk: Do you think Friendship is necessary?
Der HM: If you mean Friendship the formation of some groups, no, but otherwise friendship is necessary... (Who can stand non-friendship swap? 'Yo, here's some stuff, send soon, stamps back, bye'. Yuck.)
McDisk: What do you think about west and east germany?
Der HM: Not much... hope that you'll get out from all the trouble what is caused by uniting those two parts and come out with new & improved United Germany with more Autobahns and less copyright laws!
McDisk: Describe your holidays so far?
Der HM: This summer, if you can call this a holiday because I'm working this month (June). Working days I work, and weekends I go to some copypardies as they seem to be kept very often in summer! But the real fun starts in July when my job ends and I can begin the real holiday...
McDisk: What is your crews slogan?
Der HM: Soree, we do not have any GOOD ones...
McDisk: Any last words?
Der HM: Yes, I want to be executed at full moon.. (blaah) No really call my BBS, just visit because I like to get FoReIgN users and contact me if you want to swap, get your productions spread etc. No more bullshit this time. Aloha!
