Interview
Propaganda: Well, tell me something about you, name, age, what you do for living?
Lizardking: My name is Gustaf Grefberg and I am 19 years old, studies and on my sparetime a lot of music..
Propaganda: Can you give a short story about your scenecareer?
Lizardking: Bought an Amiga 1987. And I came over a little music-program called Sonix. That was my first contact with computermusic. And I was filled with exstacy when the first Soundtracker arrived so I could use samples. And I continued with further versions of Soundtrackers.
Autumn 90 I started a demogroup called C.C.C (Comic Cracking Crew), which I now think is a quite silly name. We released some small demos and a musikdisk with some covers. Later in 1991 we changed name to Strange. We released three musikdisks which were so bugged that they weren't spreaded so much. 1992 we released our first Nordic Report, and it all went on until Gathering 1992. At The Gathering I met some interesting people. There I got to know some guys in Alcatraz. After The Gathering I was a bit bored with Strange's attitude. So I decided to leave for another group. Then I chosed Alcatraz. In Alcatraz I made the music for RAW #3 and to a lot of Alcatraz releases and we are going to release a musicdisk very soon.
Propaganda: Have you made any money yet on the music?
Lizardking: I'm doing music for some games. So you will soon hear my music on some titles. Me and some of my friends (including Vain/X-Trade) is going so make a CD-record now.
Propaganda: Why do you always come at just outside the price money place on music competitions?
Lizardking: Either it's the fault of the voters or the stereo...
Propaganda: Do you think that sunglases should have a built in stereo?
Lizardking: Only if it's Nikam.
Propaganda: Now I will give you a list of five musicians. Rank them in order of how good you think they are. Also give each one a comment. All the musician are good, well known ones Which at least I think deserves more fame...
Lizardking:
Lizard/Andromeda: Extremely good work with the musicdisk Mirror! Different and variated style of music and very good samples.
Dolphin/Noxious: He has got a very different style. I realy like the pianotune he competed with on TCC.
Some1/Circle: Musician on the way up who has done some nice modules. Should be very interesting to hear more...
Mace/Talent: A quite ordinary musician, I have heard to little from him...
Dearon/D.C.S: The problem with Dearon is that he cheats too much on competitions and on TCC he forced people vote for him I have only heard one decent module from him...
Propaganda: Who would you vote for on da Circle chart if we would let you.?
Lizardking: Ehh... Nothing!! (Thou MUST!)
Propaganda: Do you swap?
Lizardking: Nope... Haven't got the time...
