Interview
This is New Deal of ACES writing. I want to thank everybody who came to the great copy party of ACES-VISION-ACTIVE... the PRIME '90. Without all you guys visiting it, it wouldn't be one of the best partys ever!

Well, one day before the party started I (New Deal), Draco, Bodo and Toto started the trip from Germany to Holland. During the trip we had lot of fun. But everybody wanted to kill me, as I wanted to play some music of The Cure (pfff... they don't understand anything about music!) Anyway, we arrived later than expected, because Draco forgot his passport, so we had to get back and get it. At about 8.30pm we arrived in Tilburg. I called up Bytekiller of Active to tell him to pick us up. We arrived at his place (let's say villa! COOL place!) and mentioned two other guys (can't remember their names) that arrived their right before us. Bytekiller's place was crowded pretty soon, because a lot of people from Active showed up to say hello. They showed their newest production (cool Megademo) and we talked for hours. Later at night only Bas and Bytekiller of Active were still there, and of course we. We did a whole lot of shit during the night, coding like hell. Bas tried to make a very nice animation, but he couldn't finish it. It was supposed to be played on the giant video screen at the party. However, we didn't sleep that night. Only Bytekiller did for about 5 hours.

Next morning, at about 7.30am we left to set up the party place. That place was really nice. When everything was done (shit work!) the first people arrived. But we still waited for the video screen. They had a fucking delay. It was supposed to be delivered at 10.00am. But actually it came at 11.00am. But then everything went fine. A lot of people showed up at the party. Just to mention some names: Tristar, Red Sector, Silents, TSB, Brainstorm, Mirage, Spreadpoint, Defjam, Celtic, Alpha Flight and really a lot of more famous and less famous guys. At the end we counted over 400 (fourhundred) people!!! That was awesome! I can't tell you what stuff was released, because I don't care about new stuff, but I saw a lot of really cool demos (such as Celtic, Mirage and Brainstorm). At about 4 pm we started collecting demos for the competition. Over 15 demos arrived! After judging them, at about 6.30pm we showed the results at the giant video screen. Nearly everybody was watching. It was really nice. The first three prices won Mirage, Brainstorm and Celtic. The first got an extra drive, the second was 50 disks and the third an arcade joystick.

After the competition a lot of guys left, but the real elite was still there. We also had a lotto-game, but only a few guys took part, and I think no one won something. But I am not really sure about this.

Anyway, we in ACES had to leave at about 9.00pm. We got back to Bytekiller's place to pick up our stuff and then we went to Burger King. And shit... we all were tired - damn! We didn't sleep for about 60 hours at all and we still had to drive back 5 long fucking hours. And to all this luck - we missed the right exit on the highway. We fucking landed in Belgium instead of Germany (toto...toto). We finally did it the right way, and stopped at a restaurant to get some coffee. And there the biggest shit happend to me. I lost my wallet containing about 500 german bucks, passport, visa-card and a list with about 20 calling cards. I hope I will get back at least the wallet... But still I can say, that the PRIME '90 was one of the best parties that I ever visited. That's my opinion. Some might think different, but most of the guys I asked said the same. And I am really looking toward to the PRIME '91, see you there... Bye...
