On the first weekend of August Sanity, Complex and Supplex organized a party in Neuwiedenthal, close to Hamburg. It was a hot summer weekend but it was nice hanging around there. When we arrived at the station we met Chaos calling for help because somebody broke his computer. In the hall, after walking around a bit and talking to some friends we took a table, sat down and enjoyed the atmosphere. There were about 200 or 300 people, I think. Many guys worked for the competition, so did Friendly. The first night was easy to survive. When we were tired we took some Red Bull, and everything was alright. I spent the night talking to old and new friends. One night (I think it was the second one, but I can't remember clearly) some trouble came up, when some drunken not-scene-guys wanted to get in without paying the entrance fee. Of course they weren't allowed to enter and then they wanted to storm the room. He he he... They had some weapons, but it was no problem (A big hello to Sultan who fought like a tiger). Later that night the police appeared and asked some things about these guys. The rest of the Party was like every Party else. Nothing special, but fun. I'm sorry that I can't tell you the results, It wasn't very interesting. I only heard about bad releases. The Soundcompetition was won by 5 wannabe's. They sampled some parts from a dancefloor-track and remixed it. Voila- 500 DM. The second night I went home to sleep there. Next morning I went back, but the most guys were sleepy. I stood there for some hours and then we went home again to have some more sleep. That's it. The organizing was OK, the rooms were big enough, the beer was warm. 3 Facts I remember.
