Interview
From the 26th to the 29th of september, Imp-666 and Razor held a party in "Granehallen" near to Arendal centrum. They were expecting about 4-500 people to this party, but only 220 showed up, and mostly gamers and swappers. There were released some demos, intros and some strange (but nice) compactings. The program that was continusly in use was X-copy (as usual?), but all of you know why it's called a copy party, don't you.

When it came to the voting, we started to understand why so few people had shown up. The show was lead by a geek called "Joey Terror". They had a democratic voting system, and a lousy big-screen they showed the drawings, demos and a not so powerfull stereo-rack to play the music on.

Anyway they started the voting with an animation contest without any prizes. The animations were realy "nice" a bit bloody but nice anyway. The gfx contest was realy impossible to judge couse the big screen was so lousy that it was impossible to see what the picture lookes like.

Music is normaly something that is wery good represented, and with good modules. There were only a few modules an the few that were any good didn't sound good on the stereo-rack they had. But the demos were quite nice, and in particular the ones from Motion and a new group called Talent.

All the voting cheets were delivered to the kiosk that was really good and was not so expensive either. At about 3.00 in the morning was the list fished and looked like this:

GFX COMPO RESULTS:
-----------------------
1. MORTEN OF DEXION
2. RAMJET OF PMC
3. VIMME OF NEW WAVE

MUSIC COPO RESULTS:
-----------------------
1. MUTANT OF NEW WAVE
2. PETER OF PMC
3. KILLROY OF DEADLINE

DEMO COMPO RESULTS:
-----------------------
1. ANDROMEDA
2. MOTION
3. TALENT
4. SYMBIOSIS

We had to be out of the hall at 12.00 but many left even before the results were ready. And at 9.00 the hall was almost empty.

All I have to say is that the party was not at all as cool as it could have been, but that isn't any of the partyholders fault!
