alcatraz, the eternal group strikes again with a new demo ... welcome to the strange world of the alcatraz production... a new world to let you dream a moment... in this fabulous world, you will perhaps see a star, appearing in the sky... and if you have the chance to see it, make a wish... but let's come back to the credits... this demo was coded by hornet, the gfx were made by pgcs, the music was composed by moby, the logos were made by pgcs and fox and the sound fx were made by hornet, burgame and pgcs ... and now, here's some words from pgcs about this demo ... after our first music disk - i've got the power - i thought this demo was great ... so i decided to give the opportunity to moby to do a great great song ... a song that will play completely different during more than 20 minutes ... we gave him more than 120 soundtrack patterns and about 300k for the samples!!! i think the visual and the sound of this demo are good ... this demo is not very hard to code, but it's very beautiful for the eyes and for your ears ... that's a new kind of demo, without 1.000.000 bobs on screen or big filled vectors or even a vectorballs object so simple as a plane ... but just a beautiful demo ... this is now our kind of demo ... for our future production ... odyssey ... we will do again something new, but something totally different and that time, the code will be smashing too (i think with the best 3d filled vectors since now, if nobody release a better demo till odyssey's release...) ... but here we come back to the present subject ... this demo (or this music disk if you prefer...) ok, now, this text continue with an usual text ... the member list of alcatraz (as you'll see, we're not so much as before...) ... so here are the alcatraz members ... pgcs, hornet, triad, moby, mystical, bros, hellraiser and fox ... just good members for a good group ... ok, here's now our spreading point: alcatraz po.box 43 ch-1012 lausanne ... and now, perhaps, you're interested by knowing some members' adresses ... but warning ... no pirate software to the following adresses... so here's the pgcs' adress ... pgcs ch-1074 mollie-margot switzerland ... here's the moby's one ... f. motte f-79220 cours france ... that's all ... if you're interested to have any contact with another member of the group, just write to me and i'll give your letter to the other member ... and now, let me introduce you moby... hi fans!! moby on the keyboard. i really hope you like this piece of music. i had a lot of work with it (about 2 months. it is quite long but i had a lot of work besides...). before bullshiting, here are some technical informations. this tune is made up of 128 different patterns (128 kb of patterns), 270 kb of samples and has a total lenght of 195 positions. it lasts for 22 minutes... i used 3 samples made by charles deenen of maniacs of noise, 1 by my friend chrylian of proton ltd, 3 by firefox of phenomena, 1 by walkman of crb, 2 by nightlight of kefrens, 2 by unknown people (the heavy guitars..???) and 12 by myself (there are 24 samples used in this tune). enough boring text... now, i would like to fuck the whole angels team! angels are only fucking assholes. fuck to corsair and mister video! why did you use my music for an angels demo? you knew i hate this crew! this music was meant to be used in a dragons demo, not in an angels one. and you could have warned me that you entered angels (by the way, why did you choose this crew? this summer you said they were only stupid bastards and that you would never go in this bad team...) moreover, you didnt send the demo to me! i hate your behaviour! now, i am gonna send some hellos to my best friends in the scene... alan of impact inc. (see you soon, pal, and be ready for a new defeat at kickoff 2 and at turbo esprit!! hehehe. thanx for all sendings and phonecalls, and also thanx for the book -it- from stephen king!!! ) raistlin of northstar (hi fred! thanx for tapes and cool letters and phonecalls! i will send you some tapes soon...) sculptor of proton ltd. (hi raimund! thanx for long letters, sendings and friendship! nice logos of yours! keep up the good work! ) chrylian of proton ltd (i am really happy you moved to proton ltd! it's a really cool team! hope to hear some new tunes from you soon, in new proton products!!! and see you very soon!) tip of phenomena (hi pal! cool modules you sent! i hope to see some new mindblasting demo from phenomena with some of your tunes soon!! ) stp of reaktor (hi john! thanx for your letter and disks! i hope you will like this music disk!) hawkmoon of northstar (hi yann! i hope you will release your new demo soon!!) diskbuster (hi fabrice! thanx for all phonecalls and friendship. i hope we will meet again soon and have some fun together! ) skywalker and clash of paradox (hey! why didnt we met in paris at the french pc show? were you too tired to come and see me? also hi to the other guys of paradox i saw there (olivier, spirit, sphinx...) ) dd of spider (it was nice and funny to meet you in paris! hope to see you again!! ) daniel, eric, mathieu, philippe, roland and all the other cool guys at coktel vision and fuck to the not cool guys at coktel vision! those who dont give me enough money for my musics! sir monkey (hi pal! cool modules you sent. your conversions of metallica tunes are really mindblasting! ) zike of??? (hi per! i hope it is not true that you are in angels!!! if it is, leave them!!! and dont forget: enculer, suce ma bite and all the rest!! knulla kuk! ) axa of x-men (hi aki, i will write back to you soon!!! sorry for enormous delay!!!) georg of subway (hi! i hope to meet you again, one day!!! who knows? ) i think thats all for the hellos... hope i forgot nobody... also some greetings to the best musicians on amiga (no order): bruno (gate) uncle tom (razor) walkman (crb) 4-mat (anarchy) greg (atz) chrylian (proton ltd) fleshbrain (crusaders) codex (razor) charles deenen (maniacs of noise) firefox (phenomena) tip (phenomena - but i wanna hear more!) while typing this text, i am listening to a tape with some of the best amiga musics on it. they are : -sunset in 77- by bruno, -klisje paa klisje- by walkman, -neverending story- by chrylian, -free from guitar- by bruno, -last knight- by... oh by me... hehehe, -poseidon- by uncle tom, -dna dream- by 4-mat, -lovesong- by 4-mat, -memory dust- by codex, -infinite finiteness- by bruno, -serenade to...- by bruno, -savannah- by uncle tom, -labyrinth- by uncle tom, -freefall- by fleshbrain, -stormlord titletune- by maniacs of noise, -cerebral beres- by tip and mantronix, -pup the funk bits-by chrylian, and there are about 15 minutes free for new things from you all!!! i think i have nothing more to say... so i am gonna end this text with a big greeting to amiga freelancers for their wonderful protracker! see you soon in another alcatraz production! merry x-mas and happy new year ... thank you moby for your text... it was so interesting... hem... sorry man... i think that it's now the end of this scrolly, because nobody has something else to say... not even our coder who's in his bed for the moment, because he's ill (yep man! don't worry...)... what else? nothing... i'll hang up... but just before, i would tell you not to be impatient for odyssey, because it's a big production and it takes time to do it, so wait with patience guy, it will take the time it need! now it's really time to go to bed for us (not for our coder, because he's already in bed...) and i hope to find you again in a future project (normally, it will be odyssey...) and by the way, watch out for our music disk which must be out on the board just now (on 30th march 1991...)... now i stop, because everybody tell me that i speak too much (hem...)... so good bye freaks and c u soon!...
