The music in this demo was made with the incredible 'SoundTracker' made by Karsten Obarsky (NTST version) Graphics done with 'Graphicraft' All code done with 'DevPack 1.0' (Pal!!!) If you have any update of these proggies then contact Vector! We are desperately seeking for Seka. Now... The real story about this demo. All routines (except NT) are exclusively made by Vector and are (c) by Mirage. No ripped stuff. They were made with the assembler that beats all others: DevPack 2.14 There is also a 2.30 version but that is bullshit. There doesn't exist a 2.30 Some lamer changed the text of version 2.12 By the way, press Escape to activate the keyboard control, Help for some help. Music by Mel, gfx by TC and Sprite. Some days ago, I finished the update of TMT Version 1.1 This new version will be available at the Jungle Command Copy Party... TMT now includes multiple sinus add and multiply (up to 99 different sinuses can be added or multiplied!) It' now 15:01 am 25-12-89 and I'm typing this text because I wanted to have a break from debugging the demo. I wa trying to make a keyboard control but everytime I want to switch from vector-grafix to pixelset the computer stops (nice for ST-mode perhaps?) Some things that have to go in the demo are: Scrolling background, full keyboard control, a lot of different sinuses, palletes, and much more. And I have to finish it before the Jungle-Party (pour me!) At this moment I have completed degugging the text!!! Time goes fast it's now 27-12-89 22:34:00 PM (still 10 days to complete the demo) Mel just called and said that he started with the music Now counting my money. (copy-parties are very expensive!) I've just included the help-page in the demo. Keyboard control works fine now (victory!). More keyboard control is comming up. Still waiting for TC, to bring his new objects. Still wainting... Now completed the pixelset routine. (12 hours ago) Mel said that he was going to make a piece of 250kb music. Slash is still complaining (shut up!!!) Something great happened a few seconds ago. I made the logon-equalizer routine 4 times faster!!! (victory!) Fuck off the hi-words! Here I am again (22:07:23 PM), I've completed a new utility. It's called 'Font-Chopper'. This nice utility cuts your font into bite-size pieces for your great demos. How does it work? Very simple: Just enter the name of a DPaint picture (with a font on it) and soem information about the font-size and the amount of characters. Now Font-Chopper will cut your font to raw-data and save it to one file. Example: This font. This utility too, will be available at the Jungleparty. That's all for today freaks... Hi ya, freaks A happy newyear. It's now 1-1-1990 1:18:00 AM. Still six days to go. Demo is almost finished now. A few palettes and two or three sinustables and I can start coding on the trackloader for the megademo. (no trackdisk.device ofcourse) By the way we kicked PDB out of Mirage and we welcome our new member: Vector That was a newyears joke ofcourse. I just changed my name to 'Vector' because vectorgfx was one of the first routines I wrote. (and PDB was a shit name!) Now a tip for the advanced: If you want to load the loader of a megademo or so from a bootblock, you don't have to open a 'trackdisk.device'. A pointer to the system's trackdisk device stands in a1 Just write the nescessary data to the structure and call d010. Wanted: dead or alive, the encoding and decoding routines for MFM-coded data (disk data). At last, TC called today. He would bring the objects tomorrow (2-1-1990). Mel said that the demo must be finished before the fifth. Now having some trouble with the object changing. (nothing changes!) If you want to know how to use the copper below line ff then read the scrolltext of the Parallax Demo. Do not, I repeat, do not make a mirror with the blitter. Just set the bitplanes pointers! Pointers are the most powerful things on the Amiga. Still think that the blitter is too slow. I have 8k copperlist in this demo. Only four days left to finish the demo. It's now 2-1-1990 14:34:22 PM TC is here. He brought his fontset (forgot the h (lamer!)). Mel is here too. Made a great sound... For his own demo. It's now 4-1-1990 18:17:44 PM Still 2 days to go. Sorry, but I don't need the disk encoding or decoding routines anymore. I finished these routines today. We (Mirage) have now the fastest track-loader ever made! Watch out for our mega-demo.
