THE BITTER AND INEVITABLE ENDING
--------------------------------

FINALLY!!! Not only good things come to an end, this demo has ALSO come to
an unavoidable ending....
I really hope you enjoyed this demo, the effects, the design, the music,
the graphics, everything!!!

And I REALLY hope you had more fun watching it than I had making it, becoz
it was one helluva job!!!

" NO PRAYER FOR THE CODING "

Well, since I didn't include any really large scrolltext in the demo,
and because I am relly fond of writing bytes-of-bullshit, some of my
strange views, greetings and comments can be read from now on....

THE TOTAL & UNCENSORED CREDITS
------------------------------

EXCALIBUR is responsible for the code and ideas
DR. AWESOME composed the music & painted the Atari pic.
P.MAN (no Crusader) painted the marvellous red logo appearing.
DR.C of Red Sector made the font used while dcrnch. Thanx! :-)

THE DEMO PARTS REVISITED NOCH EIN MAL!
--------------------------------------

FILLED VECTORCRUCIFIX
Well, it isn't much to say about this one. :-) Can't release a
decent demo nowadays WITHOUT filled vectors...

PSYCHO COPPER EFFECT
Hihih... :-) Nice one eh? It is XACTLY enough time for the copper
to change the color registers 0-16 when going off the screen at
the right hand side, and getting back on the left hand side on the
next line. This means you can have a rasterbar in each of the 16
colors, add some 4 bitplane patterns, and voila! A lot of things
can be done with this one, so just improve it 'ntil you puke!

CHESSBOARD FLIP
This one has the worst coding! :-) I wish I could say that the
chessboard were realtime vector-converted, drawn and filled,
but I can't! :-D It's frames! Hehihohoh! Takes one helluva lot
        of space!

STRANGE CONE VECTORS
The effect was born when I did a mistake. In the Uwe Braun book
about 3D-graphics for the (aargh!) Atari ST, there are some
techniques for drawing a cone. If you just rotate the facets of
a cone in ALL 3 planes instead of just the XZ plane, you get this.

THE DEMO PARTS REVISITED NOCH EINMAL!

-------------------------------------

BOUNCING BALL IN CUBE
This is one of the oldest parts, and definately one of my favourite
ones! It's simple, but nice! If you just draw the hidden as well
as the shown lines in different planes, you can move objects inside
the cube. I didn't have time to fill the cube though, but I'll soon
release another demo, so dig in those hills!!!!

ATARI COMMERCIAL
A really great and good-for-laughs picture pixeled by the notorius
DR. AWESOME. The resemblence to a REAL Atari ST is startling!

F.A.S.T. WARNING PICTURE
Hohohi! Say no more! These guys think they can stop the world
turning by putting this joke in the loader of the english titles.
        Pic ripped from Dragons Breath.

SPHERE ROTATION
Ahh... Well, this isn't actually so good, I know. But it takes such
a helluva lot time to rotate, test if hidden, and then plot every
pixel in turn. I had space 4 it, so...

OF MODEM SCENES, THROWING SHIT, JEALOUSY AND PIRATED SOFTWARE
-------------------------------------------------------------

Recently, it seems that the height of fashion among some of the groups
in Norway has been slagging the Norwegian modem scene in their releases.

Of that reason, since we don't put emphasis on pirated software on our BBS,
certain groups have pointed their fingers at the CRUSADERS BBS saying:

"" You don't have an ultra-fast modem and the latest cracks! That means
your BBS is naught but shit! ""

Well, to these people I would like to say:

We were ...
        * ruling ArchWizards at every available MUD
        * seducing female I.T.I. Phone Operators
        * phreaking 4 hours a day at Altger when it was a cult place
        * fooling the poor norwegian phonecompany and TBK BADLY!
        * chatting daily with hacker-legends

before you even considered the fact that running a BBS was possible.

So U C, a modem scene is far more than just people logging on, downloading
the latest unintelligent games, and then logging off...
So you better just ATH0 your loud mouths. :-)

TALKING OF LOUD MOUTHS, I'M EQUIPPED WITH ONE!
----------------------------------------------

Well, maybe I got a bit carried away! :-) This is no war-starting, just a
way of telling the world that our BBS and modem-section is running
perfectly fine, and we won't run the BBS into the oh-my-god-we-have-to-get-
the-latest-cracks-uploaded-at-once situation!

Things are prospering at our HQ board, though our infamous sysop

DR. OUTTASIGHT

has suffered a massive number of devastating hard-disk breakdowns.. I think
he's using the 4th hard-disk in a period of less than a month or smth.
Is that a world record ???

You are welcome to call our hilarious BBS...

THE ENCHANTMENTS AND BLESSINGS SECTION
--------------------------------------

A big THANKS goes to all the CRUSADERS for being the best team I've ever
been working with!

Blessing also goes to 8TH SENSE of ABAKUS for being such a groovy disk-
supplying doode! :-)

A booming laughter flies to all other demo coders in the scene! Why the
hell are we doing this? (I dream of a world where we can SELL our demos!)

An excusing frown walks over to the guys I used to swap with before, that
haven't heard from me for over a year or so. SORRY! :-) I'm too lazy!

A smile crusades to PHOTON of PHENOMENA, ICRONITE of KEFRENS, SLAYER of
SCOOPEX, DELTA of RED SECTOR, METALLION of KEFRENS and TEC of CRYPTOBURNERS
for being good coders who know their bytes! 8-)

A big handshake shakes over to Promax of KEFRENS.. :-) If you don't
fix the directory-bug in your ProSeka, the handshake will be replaced by
smth REALLY nasty nastiness.

A big HI! flaps its way to all the guys I forgot to say HI! to above. HI!

ENDINGS ARE JUST BEGINNINGS
---------------------------

Well, it's time to stop this little demo, by saying a nice goodbye to you,
that had the nerve to go through these bytes of gibberish nonsense. :-)
Another press at your space bar, and voila! Your life is back to normal!

See you in a later production!

THE END

                                                   Cheers from EXCALIBUR
