some technical stuff about this demo...
---------------------------------------
the raytracing was 80*64 in 16 colours
it consisted of 96 frames and uses
multiple palettes. it was run in a rate
of 25 pix/second...
it actually fills about 128 kb of memory
(iff/ilbm format) - which is a lot in a
filedemo.
the 8 balls was ofcourse done by using
a combination of all the bitplanes (in
dual-playfield) and all the sprites.
quite a simple trick.

the dot cube had nothing less than
19*19*6 = 2166 dots
all realtime calculated (no kidding!)
the dot-tunnel had 4096 dots. that is
also quite a lot (actually the best
i have seen so far!)
it was in 3 colours.
the jelly-logo and greetings-part was
done by using a cool technique developed
by chaos of sanity (he's the best!)

the fractal is (i think) a simulation of
what liquid acts like when it is poured
into sand. it is based on some random
thing. i hope it works just as well on
all amiga-configurations!
the many stars after the zooming ratlogo
are in 3 colours. actually they are all
precalculated :-) and there are about
2800 of them.
the lightball used some tricky shade
thing to produce the fading text. but
otherwise it was quite normal.

zooming logo, fullscreen rat-logo and
"molted man"-logo in end-part was drawn
by our gfx-man, SPLATT . though he is
very lazy it's some really neat things
he has come up with.
the music was done by SLIDE (it sounds
cool and has a bit of a hint of some
techno or something). it is called
VODKA (great name - great drink).

DINO did the logo in the greetingspart.
EASLEY did the pig and SLIDE the
1-coloured font in the fractal-part.
MR. MOUNT did tiring phonecalls to
GARGOYLE and drove us at the final
product.
also thanks to SOLID for trying to fix
the A1200 keyboard-handler!
