A hard weekend in Denmark! Some days before the Red Sector/Silents party in Glostrup started, we decided to visit this great event. We (Koto/Mindkillers, Black Pearl/Rippmasters, Animal/Outlaws, Warhammer/Dukes and me) left my hometown Bielefeld at 8 o'clock on Friday evening. After some hours we entered the ferry and went over to Denmark. At about 4 o'clock in the morning we arrived at the party place, a big sports hall. There were about 200 Amigas running with lots of people behind them (of course I did not count them). Everyone else was sleeping under the tables or in the sleeping hall (good idea). After installing our Amiga we were raided by a French fellow who just wanted to have any kind of software he was able to get. Sorry for him, but nobody wanted to have him around. This really was no pure copy meeting, it was a real conference where you were able to get good and new ideas. Furthermore you were able to meet some good old friends and everyone who got a (good) name in the scene. On Saturday there was action the whole day and in the evening some guyz captured our Amiga to connect it with an amplifier. On that they played some very cool sounds e.g. from Romeo Knight (well done guy). But they told me that you are able to hear these tunes in the next Red Sector demo. Keep on that good work. Another happening was that Tristar is now in cooperation with Red Sector[/s] as Flynn/[g=88]Tristar told me. In the demo competition there were about 19 demos and I think the Budbrain demo was the best but there were lots of good demos (Venom, Flash Prod., Silents Sweden, Swampions (cool Basic (!) demo) Moses Team etc.). When we drove home on Sunday at 4 p.m. there still was no result of the competition available but we had the good feeling of having visited one of the best parties ever seen. In the end I want to thank Black Pearl for the cheap fuel he organized from the army (one litre for 25 Cents). Thanx Charly! Hope to see ya again in my car next time...
