On 10th and 11th of August the Energy - Hypnotic - Awsome party in Karlsruhe took place. It wasn't so far from us, so we decided to go there. When we arrived at 22.00 still a lot of guys were present like: Quadlite, Defcon One, Addonic, Energy, Awsome, Spreadpoint, Adept and some more. A real disaster was there. The demo-competition had some accident and was placed on later. But then it worked. I haven't seen any of the demos, but someone told me, that they weren't very good. I even don't know the winner. The interesting thing at the party was the modem line at the party place. So we checked out some boards for the latest - but nothing new was there. At about 0.00 there was no free blue-box line to get and the guy who owns the telephone went home. The party became funny when we brought up our famous party beer (Szenator). Then the action climbed fast. At four in the morning i orderd some pizzas, but Thundercat had a delay and i went sleeping. At 6.30 in the morning when i woke up I ate the cold pizza - it even didn't taste so good. Fazit: I met some old mail-swap friends for the first time - I also meet Zeronine the first time for 3 months. All in all it was a lame party - but some funny gusts made it worth to be there.
