Competitions ------------ If you have a look at the common qualities of Hungarian parties, you easily notice that there were hardly great prizes. From now on this is the past! So there will be nice prizes and moreover they will be given to the competitors! All in all Hammering'94 offers you about 150.000 Fts in five categories (the greatest prize ever provided by a Hungarian computer party)! 1.Amiga demo 40000, 15000, 5000 2.PC demo 30000, 10000 3.C64 demo 6000, 3000, 1000 4.Amiga 40k intro 10000, 3500, 1500, 1000 5.Amiga-PC music 6000, 3000, 2000, 1000 6.Amiga-PC graphics 6000, 3000, 2000, 1000 We keep all right to change the rates between different machines according to the number of competitors! Demo: - Amiga/AGA demos must run on a standard A1200. - Amiga/ECS demos must run on standard A500, A500+, A2000, A600 with max 1 megabyte of ram (either chip/fast orchip) and on a standard A1200 - The production must be a serious workwith accurate design and well worthy code. Silly joke demos and disturbing productions won't be allowed to enter the competition. There is going to be a preselection in the 5th and 6th categories Music: - No longer than 4 minutes. If longer, the rest won't be played. - Maximum size of the music is 500K. - No long and dull starting parts - Preferably an own composition - It must have nice melody, rhythm, theme or should be well composed or interesting at least. Monotonous or annoying modules will be excluded. Graphics: - Preferably no copies - Scanned entries won't be allowed to enter. - Preferably something interesting or original (dragons, warriors and naked women are already out!???! are they? you decide!) - No sign of the authors name is allowed on the picture. - The maximum resolution of the pictures is Super-Hires. (The pictures will be displayed on an AGA machine.)

We hired two levels in the building with four big rooms on the first one, of course only for those people who stay for the whole event. So you need your special entrance sign to enter. Rules ----- Hereby we would like to give you the rules necessary to keep. Our intention is to make you have a nice, enjoyable weekend, therefore we ask you to read through carefully and keep these lines in mind. 1. No alcoholics are permitted inside the building. People who want to booze, may go to down-town. Needless to say, in Budapest there is a great number of pubs, discos, bars, casinos and other facilities. 2. Smoking is only allowed on the signed places. 3. People causing damage are obligated to pay for it, no matter what kind of damage it is. The one who refuses will be handed over to the police. 4. We take no responsibility for the illegal stuff copied on the party. 5. People criss-crossing around the place after the time limit with an only 1 day ticket are compulsed either to pay 500ft or leave the place. 6. No paintings, stickers and signs are allowed on the walls or anywhere in and outside the building. If you have special artistic ambitions, you can create your drawing compositions on a special graffiti wall. 7. People causing trouble or breaking the hereby mentioned rules will be thrown out of the building by the guards(!) and/or handed over to the police, no matter whether they payed the entrance fee or not. Consider keeping the rules please. In case you do, Hammering'95 is going to be a reality, same place, same time next year!

Moskow square (Moszkva tér) Form the airport: Take bus no.93 to the end station, called "Kõbánya-Kispest" Then take the subway (Metro) line no.3 (blue) for the next 10 stations, this way reaching the traffic central called "Deák tér". Afterwards take the subway line no.2 for the next 3 stations in direction of "Déli Pu.". From train stations: Choose accurately the necessary subway lines to reach your destination point the Moskow square. By car: Arriving from East take the bridge called Margit, followed by the Margid boulevard to Moskow square. From South and West take "Alkotás" street straight to the Southern train station (Déli pu.) followed by Moskow square. II.) Városmajor Highschool (Városmajori Gimnázium) From Moskow square you can choose either a. tramway no.18 to the endstation b. tramway no.56 for 3 stations c. bus no.22, no 56, no.28, no.128 or no.158 Noticing the giant round building of Hotel Budapest on the right side, you will be able to see in the immediate neighbourhood, on the other side of the street the modern red bricked building of the school. By car: From Moskow square take "Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor" and drive on, until you notice the round building of Hotel Budapest.
