Interview
Top Secret: What's your name, real name, group, function and all the rest?
The Pride: My name real name is Palle Jensen and I'm a member of Sanity. I'm a mail trader and a gfx artist.
Top Secret: What do you do for a living?
The Pride: I'm working on a factory. No futher comments...
Top Secret: Tell a little about your background in the scene.
The Pride: Well, I started on the 64 in 1986. After a few years laming on that computer, I got my Amiga. First I joined Zaxs, a little subgroup of Trilogy. Then I joined Flash Production. I stayed there for 2.5 years then F.P. died, and I joined Brainstorm, but I only stayed there for 2 months when I got an offer from Sanity, so I joined them. That must be the story...
Top Secret: What do you think about the scene today?
The Pride: I like the scene as it is now. The scene is very professional, but I think that is ok.
Top Secret: Name your favorite demo, graphician, musician, coder, group a.s.o.
The Pride:
Demo: Elysium/Sanity
Graphics: Uno/Scoopex, Rack/Majic12, Slash/Anarchy
Musician: Bit Arts/Sanity, Tip/Phenomena
Coder: Chaos/Sanity, Buddha/Spreadpoint
Group: Phenomena, Anarchy
Top Secret: Are you a real amiga freak?
The Pride: What is a real Amiga freak?? But I am an Amiga freak...
Top Secret: How many contacts do you have, and are you a "friendship swapper" or a "here-is-XXX-bye swapper"?
The Pride: I have about 30 elite contacts. I think I'm a friendship swapper because I like long letters. I also enjoy to swap stuff like chocolade pornomags and used condoms. But I think you have to ask my contacts whether I'm a friendshipswapper or not. Not me.
Top Secret: Who are you oldest friends in the scene?
The Pride: Well, it must be Daryl/Red Sector Inc., Zark/Triangle 3532, Corny/Silents, Chester/Brainstorm and some others...
Top Secret: How many disks do you have, and what color are they?
The Pride: I have about 200 disks and they are blue, black, green, yellow, red, orange and white.
Top Secret: What do think about the matters of musicgroups like MON and Sonic projects?
The Pride: Well, I think there have been some scandals in MON, but I don't know much about them. I think Sonic Projects are ok. (Hi Robert!!)
Top Secret: Do you like REAL parties, or do you prefer Fraugde-parties?
The Pride: As far as I know the Fraugde parties are very lame, so I really prefer cool headbanger parties.
Top Secret: Are you a candy freak?
The Pride: No!!! I prefer beers.
Top Secret: What is your opinion about all the lame groups?
The Pride: Nothing really. We have all been lamers once.
Top Secret: Do you think it is cool that groups like Kefrens, Flash a.s.o. are being continued by new guys?
The Pride: No, not really, because groups like Kefrens and Flash are legends, so it islame when some newcomers continues a legendary group. Then it's better to let the legend die as a legend.
Top Secret: Are you still involved in Zine after you left Brainstorm?
The Pride: Yes, ofcourse! I will continue working as a freelance editor for Zine in the same way as when I was in Flash Production. (Hi Chester!!)
Top Secret: Which country rule the demo scene?
The Pride: I think it must be Sweden and France.
Top Secret: What do you think about stickers and other likewise ways of promoting groups?
The Pride: I think it cool. Having stickers and other stuff like that is nice...
Top Secret: Which beers do you like?
The Pride:
Green label Tuborg: Yes, I love her!!
Albani: Yes, I like her too...
HansA: NO!!
Silver star pils: NOOOOOO!!!!
Top Secret: Do you drink anything else than Beer?
The Pride: Yes, cola and milk (?)
Top Secret: Are you a colafreak? (that means, do you stick to at least 3 litres of PURE Coca Cola a day)
The Pride: No, I'm not...
Top Secret: What do you think a diskmagazine should contain to be better than all the bad mags from groups searching more fame?
The Pride: I think there should be some interesting articles about the scene, and also some nonscene articles. It's in fact hard to say...
Top Secret: Do you own a girlfriend?
The Pride: No, not at the moment. I sold the last one for 3 beers...
Top Secret: Do you play games and doing other lame things, or do you only watch your latest stuff, copy to the ones who sent it to you, turn off your computer and do other things, or do you spend hours in front on your computer?
The Pride: I mostly watch the new stuff comming in. When I get a good game I play it once or twice and then forget it. I don't use much time infront of my computer anymore. In the weekends maybe up to 3 hours....
Top Secret: If you could put together your favorite meal (with drinks!), what would it look like?
The Pride: It should be lasagne, with ice cold beers...
Top Secret: And to end this interview in a VERY original way: Have you got any last words, greets a.s.o.?
The Pride: I wanna thank Vivaldi and Photon of Vixen for this interview made on a little internal meeting here at Kefner of Vixen's place... I want to greet every guy at this meeting. Also greetings to all my cool contacts around the world. To contact me write to: The Pride/Sanity, P.O.Box 77, 5800 Nyborg, Denmark
