My name is Palle Jensen. I'm 20 years old and have been in the scene for 6 years now. I'm a mailtrader, packer and I also do some graphics. |

Please continue with your scene-life and with your job as "The Pride"!! We want to know how you started, in which group and why u chose for example the computer?? (Aren't there also so much other interesting topics on the world? Perhaps you would be today a very famous jazz-singer (?) if you had not ever bought an Amiga, hahaha) Try to give also further details about your old teams and more of this historical stuff. |

A jazzsinger?? You must be kidding!! Well my job as "The Pride" started in 1985, when I bought a C64. In the beginning I didn't knew anything about the scene at all. I was only playing stupid 5 months old games, and wasn't doing anything creative. By time I got in contact with some people in the scene, The Supply Team just to mention one.
After 1.5 great year one of my friends got an Amiga. Well I had heard of that "wonder" machine. But when I saw it for the first time I was convinced. "So ein Ding muss ich auch haben!!"
So 3 weeks later I got my Amiga! Later I joined a subgroup of Trilogy called Zaxs. I had a good time there, but I wanted to get into bigger and better teams so at the BS1 party in Denmark for about 3 years ago I joined Flash Production!! After I joined Flash Production I started to pack. I had 2.5 wonderfull years in Flash Production. When I joined there was only 3 members. And as they more or less all later dropped the scene I got the organiser.
Well why did I chose computers?? I guess it was because one of my friends got an Atari 800 games-machine, and I was ofen at his place to play games. So I bought my own computer to play games. I guess that's why... |

When you started packing and why YOU got the job as packdiskmaker and nobody else??? Have you had the most contacts from other teams or have you chosen this job by yourself??? |

I started packing in the very beginning of 1988. I got the job because I was the only trader in Flash Production at that time. And I liked to make packs. It saves lotsa disks. That's the main idea of packs. And I think it better to get one disk with 6 great demos, than to get 1 disk with 1 great demo on it. |

Why did you leave your old group Flash Production? I know that pals of Flash Production Norway are for example still active but what were the main reasons for this change??? The "lameness" of the others, quarrels or what??? |
| The Pride: |
I left Flash Production because of the inactivity of the members. All our members except me was working on games. I tried to convince them to make something for the scene, to show that we were still alive, but noone was doing anything. And for me it's a hobby to be a part of the scene, so I thought it was time to find another team. We are all still good friends, so there is no hard feeling... |

Was it ever your plan to join Brainstorm after leaving Flash Production or did you talked also with other teams before joining the producers of the untouchable ZINE? |

No it was not my plan. I talked to different groups like Razor, Cryptoburners, Anarchy and Phenomena. Phenomena didn't want any members from other countries, only members in Sweden. The groups didn't need a trader in a foreign country. But one day my friend Chester called me and asked me to join Brainstorm. In the beginning I didn't really know, but the day after I called him and told him that I would like to be in Brainstorm. |

And why did you leave Brainstorm so fast, to join Sanity? Was Brainstorm too "unproductive", too "lame" or what were the main-reasons for your act?? And do you think that there'll be better ways of living in Sanity? |

No, no, no. Brainstorm is a very nice team with great organizing by Chester. And they are not lame or unproductive. Well demos are not comming very ofen but a great mag as Zine takes alot of time and work. Well, why did I join Sanity. Maybe I have always liked Sanity. I have some good friends there. (I also have in Brainstorm) But I think Sanity is a team with a good future. I don't have a main reason to join Sanity. I would just like to be in Sanity... |

Why did u chose Sanity?? Why not another team in the world??? |

Well, I did not chose Sanity. They asked me to join them. I think Sanity was a good choise, because they are one of the leading demogroups in the world. |

Hm, I think that the majority of the freaks in the scene will ever think back to Flash Production while hearing your name... Do you think that you will be able to manage the hard job as a packer also in the future and will you become so famous with the packs for your NEW team like e.g.in Flash Production? |

Well, I don't know.... I will continue to make my packs as good as I can, and then it's up to the scene to vote. I don't care much about charts because I'm doing it for fun, but it's ofcourse nice to see that people likes what I'm doing. That's the best moral support you can get!! |

What is with divisions or other sections of Sanity? I think that the WHQ of your team's positioned in Germany, but what is with more "headquarters"? Are you the only guy of SNT in a foreign country or are there still more dudes??? |

Yes, the heart of Sanity is in Germany. I'm the only member outside Germany. We will try to concentrade all members in Germany. So I will maybe be the one and only foreign member. |

How many dudes are working under the Sanity-label??? |

At the moment we are 11 members. We have just lost one of our modemtraders, he left to join Silents Germany. |

Do you think that it's a shame to stay and to work for only a german team?? I have often heard from forein friends about the "so lame Germans" but what is YOUR opinion about this accusation??? |

A shame?? No not at all. I like to work for this german group, so I give a shit about what other people say. There are maybe not so many good demo groups in Germany like in Scandinavia, but I don't think that Germany is more lame than any other countries. |

What are you thinking e.g. about the Scoopex-packs??? I mean the packdismakers of Scoopex were also a long time in business and the actual pack-number is really high!!! Do you think that they are more or less 'rivals' or are they only good friends for you?? |

I don't look at them as rivals. We are in the same business, we have the same interests, so we do the same things. It's as simple as that... |

Difficult question, hehe.. Do you still have the whole (!) serie of Evolution-packs at home??? And if you really hadn't delete one of them somewhere in time, are you often watching them??? |
| The Pride: |
I only have the Evolutions from No.10 to No.100, and that's a shame. When I made the first ten of them, I didn't dream about that they would be so popular, so I just deleted them after a while. Yes, I sometimes load one of them to look at old demos I think it's nice to watch the old demos, they awakes a lot of good memories. |

And how many Evolution Packs and stuff like this you have made in your whole career - till now? |
| The Pride: |
I have made 100 Evolutions. In Zaxs I've made about 15 packs. For Brainstorm I did 5 packs. And I've made 1-2 utility packs, and I also do packs for Sanity. So all in all it must be over 125 packs. |

Now to your country... Denmark!! Tell us something about your hometown, about the weather and such crap, please.. And of course also interesting stuff for all swappers out there.. About the cops and about the damned post!! |

Well, as mentioned I live in Denmark, with a population of 5 millions. My hometown is called Nyborg. If you get a map, and look at Denmark, then find the big island in the middle of DK called Fyn, and on the eastern coast you'll find Nyborg. In Nyborg there lives about 22000 people. Nothing else to say about my hometown. The weather in DK is like in rest of europe. Sunshine in the summer and snow in the winter. There are no software police in DK anymore, because the danish laws are so bad, that if you got caugt you only got a small fine. They can not take your hardware and stuff like that. |

Do you have ever used a modem or things like this or did you get all the productions for the EVOLUTIONS more or less by mail? |

I have never used a modem and I don't know a shit about modems. I got all my stuff for the Evo's 100% by mail. |

What are your experiences with faked stamps?? Do you allow anybody to send letters with cheated stamps on it? Would you return the stamps, or what? |
| The Pride: |
I have been busted twice for using faked stamps. They told me that the next time they will put me to court and because I'm over 18 years old, I can get up to 3 years in jail. So there will not be a next time, because they are still watching me. I don't mind other people using faked stamps, but I just can't send them back, because the post sometimes open my sending, and if they see that I return faked stamps they will bust me. It's also illegal to return the stamps, because as they told me, you help others to commit a crime and that's also illegal. But to everyone who use faked stamps, I just wanna say: Stop while you can, it can be very expensive for you. |

Do you think that the scene is only just for fun or it is more or less real business for you??? |

It's only fun. It's a hobby to have fun with, and nothing else. |

Your opinion about cigarettes, alcohol and drugs? |
| The Pride: |
Cigarettes and alcohol is ok if you can control it. If you smoke 100 cigarettes a day and get drunk every second days you have a problem. And drugs... Keep your hand far away from that shit. Use your money one something better. |

What are the future-plans of Sanity??? A second Elysium, or what? |
| The Pride: |
We are working on a demo. I will not say more about that. We are also working on a few small projects, like intros and stuff like that. When you read this we have probably released a music-disk. And we will ofcourse also release our pack disks called Velveteen. |
