Describe yourself! |
| Yankee: |
I'm 18 years old, I own an Amiga 2000. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Please tell us the whole story about your throw out of Brainstorm! |
| Yankee: |
Some guys in Brainstorm don't want to accept that what I did was hard work. They thought I was too lazy. But in the meantime they must admit that it is a hard job. It was a bad affair, but for me is it over and I don't want talk more about it. I have again to the most Brainstorm members a good connection. I met them and talk with them but not more. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Which groups did you join before Brainstorm? |
| Yankee: |
I was one of the founders of TMT (TMT was the "mother group" of D-TECT), I was a short time in Shining 8, then I founded together with some other guys Curity, but I left them after 1 week, then I came to Brainstorm and in the meantime I founded Addonic. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Many people thought that you joined Level 4, and now you are in Addonic? |
| Yankee: |
I'm not in Level 4, I got no offer to join Level 4 and if I got one I had refused it cause I want to found my own group: Addonic. |
| Hack-Mag: |
That should mean you are only a editor of DISC but a member of Addonic? |
| Yankee: |
Yes. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Is Addonic a legal group? |
| Yankee: |
What do you understand under legal? |
| Hack-Mag: |
The swapping of software without copyright. |
| Yankee: |
At the moment we do not have swappers, if a swapper joins us it doesn't matter what he swaps but he should not sell soft. |
| Hack-Mag: |
What did you do with the post which came on your old ZINE address? |
| Yankee: |
In the first time I gave it back to Brainstorm, but after the argue with Majestic I burned it. |
| Hack-Mag: |
How many members has Addonic? |
| Yankee: |
At the moment we are 6, but we will get some more members. We are searching for more coders and especially swappers. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Do you have productions in the near future? |
| Yankee: |
You can expect a demo or an intro. I don't know how good it will be, cause I saw very less from this coder and I don't how good he is. Then we wanna release a music disk, but one thing for sure: we don't want release a disk magazine!!! |
| Hack-Mag: |
Do you have a good relationship to the single Brainstorm members? |
| Yankee: |
Aehmm, to some of them I have a good connection especially to Shadow and Chester. To some other members I have a "normal" connection. A bad connection I have to Majestic I think he has got a bad character. We talk together and not more. |

Which is the best magazine? You can give maximum 10 points for:
- Coding, handling
- Articles (from the editors)
- Conception (many interviews, less interviews)
- Sound, graphics, title pics.. |
| Yankee: |
Hmm, for CJ I give omly 5 points, don't missunderstand me I think the coding is outdated. For ZINE I give eight points. I think the coding of DISC is not so good, but it's better than CJ because of the fonts and colors - I give 7 points, the coding of ZINE is the best. I think the best coding of all has the mag of Cryptoburners, for this I give ten points. |
| Hack-Mag: |
The articles? |
| Yankee: |
Here I can't give points, I think Dr. Mabuse of CJ writes good and interesting articles, but he is a little bit unfair because of the attack on DISC and ZINE. About this will come a comment in DISC! I think very good are also the articles of Pirate of AOFCF in CJ about judge. ZINE has got he most interesting articles. To DISC I say nothing coz I write for it. |
| Hack-Mag: |
The conception? |
| Yankee: |
I think the conception of the mags is the same. But ZINE was the first mag which wrote also about none computer subjects, they were the first who get this idea and this must we accept. CJ writes only about the scene, but meanwhile they published also some articles about none computer subjects. I try also not to write only about computer subjects, you can this see in the last DISC issue. |
| Hack-Mag: |
Sounds, graphics, titlepics...? |
| Yankee: |
The sounds of News on tour are very good, because of the RSI musician Romeo Knight. The sounds of ZINE are also very good, but they are ever in the same type. |
| Hack-Mag: |
O.K. We wish you good luck for the future bla, bla, bla ...and so on..... |
| Yankee: |
Yeah.., I wish you much luck with your really cool mag, too. |
