Hi ho, here we are sitting at The Gathering some hours after the party practically ended. So if we should start with some comments from you about the competitions. What do you think of the top demos except the one from your own group? |
| Mr. Hyde: |
Cryptoburners - Brainstate:
I think Ivar's landscape rules. Too bad only that it requires FASTmem on the A1200. The random colourselection sucks pretty bad though. Overall impression: 4/5
Polka Brothers - Friday at Eight:
This demo was more normal than Cryptoburners'. Airwalk is definetely the coder who manages to get maximum effect out of relatively simple code. I like it. As I remember, it was nicely designed. Overall impression: 3/5
Talent - Q.E.D II:
The funniest demo at this party. (he!) I have only seen this demo twice, but as I remember it was not very well coded and contained too many logos. Overall impression: 2/5
Razor 1911 - Quite Unsual:
The animation by Razor looked good on the bigscreen, but I don't think they managed to fool anyone! (Three loops were too many or not ColorBird?) It was the only demo made on the party though. Overall impression: 2/5 |

Okay, you didn't like my "demo", well... I think it's the best aprilsfool-joke the scene has ever had, almost all people believed it was realtime before it looped... Talking about aprilfools, did you do one or did someone fool you? |
| Mr. Hyde: |
So - did anyone tell you about HeadX and Dr.Jekyll's little joke? Well when we had delivered the demo to the jury. We, and especially HeadX was in a rather good mood. But suddenly he turned pale and started to look VERY worried. I couldn't understand what he was thinking about, but he soon informed us that Sequential could have a very nasty bug. He and Dr.Jekyll started to talk about how different kinds of memoryexpansions could make the musicroutine crash. (When it comes to hardware I'm completely lost!) So we all ran down to our place, and Dr.Jekyll and HeadX stared to look thru the sources. HeadX looked like he was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. They fooled me completely and had a great laugh together with the rest of our team. Of course this 'bug' was just something they invented to make me worried. |

FOOOOOLED??? Well, it was a funny one they did on you! So what's the "Andromeda- 1992 was just the beginning, 1993 was nothing" up to in 1994? |
| Mr. Hyde: |
I must correct you. We wrote "1992 was just an introduction". Does it say anything about 1993? 1993 is also an odd address, and as all coders know, you can't write longwords like Andromeda-demos to odd addresses! |

Change of subject! You are a coder, and present on the charts and so on... Do you really want to be #1 on the charts? |
| Mr. Hyde: |
It is certainly not a goal itself. The charts are unfair anyway. Anyway it is not realistic that I should ever be #1. |
There we got interrupted in our live interview, because
