Rednex

Rednex was formed during the early months of 1991 by Slammer, WSA and TCCC. Later that year, when groups like Dual Power, Cycron, and Dark Ages disbanded, several of their members joined Rednex, strengthening the lineup.

With members such as Slammer, Airwalk and HitHansen, the future of Rednex looked very promising towards the end of 1991. However, for reasons that remain somewhat unclear, the momentum did not last, and by early 1992 the group was declared dead.

While a number of former members went on to form a new group called Funky Buddhas, others moved on to well-known groups such as Anarchy, Melon Dezign and Kefrens. But the story did not end there. In July 1993, several of the old members reunited and formed a new incarnation of Rednex.

At The Gathering in 1996, Slammer and Solnova released a small intro for the seventh issue of Dansktoppen, which would become the final release under the Rednex name.
