Close was formed sometime in early 1992 by coder Victory and graphics artist D'trix. They were soon joined by coder Cevoid and graphics artist Defeat on an on/off basis. Ironically both Cevoid and Defeat were the only ones to ever produce a finished product by releasing the one-screen demo Paediatrics.

Besides a couple of boot and pack menus (which were actually released), Victory and D'trix worked on a trackmo called Hexalite which was never finished.
