Close
Close was formed sometime in early 1992 by coder Victory and graphics artist D'trix. They were soon joined by coder Cevoid and graphics artist Defeat, although both contributed on a somewhat on-and-off basis.
Ironically, it was Cevoid and Defeat who ended up producing the only finished release, namely the one-screen demo Paediatrics.
Although Cevoid and D'trix were completely new to the scene, Victory and his brother Defeat had already been active on the C64 scene before moving on to the Amiga, bringing valuable scene experience with them. Defeat, in particular, brought the most experience to the group, having previously contributed to several productions for Direct. Despite this, Close never became a highly productive group.
Besides a couple of boot and pack menus (which were actually released), Victory and D'trix worked on a trackmo titled Hexalite, a project that showed promise but was ultimately never completed.
